I’m the creator behind TulipGold and someone who has always been drawn to calm, inviting spaces.
My connection to solar energy comes from personal experience. Years ago, I lived in Africa, where electricity was not always available. In many places, light came from simple sources—hurricane lamps, flashlights, and whatever could be carried or shared. Even in remote areas, a small radio might be the only modern connection to the world.
Experiencing life both with and without electricity left a lasting impression on me. At the time, solar energy wasn’t widely available—but today, it offers possibilities that feel both practical and inspiring.
Now living in a sunnier part of Europe, I enjoy long summers and the simple pleasure of lighting up outdoor spaces. Over time, I’ve built a collection of lighting and decor pieces that help create a warm, welcoming atmosphere—something my friends know well when gift-giving season rolls around.
