I was living in Africa years ago, with the mix of both having electricity and without, as electricity hadn’t reached out to the small villages at the time, that’s why, I think solar energy is a great invention, it would have been so useful at that time, but didn’t exist.
When we moved out of the big cities, we used hurricane lamps or flashlights, though the transistor radio was to be heard, even out in the bush.
I was born in the north of Europa, but am now living in a sunny place in Europa, for sure summer is my favorite time of the year. Here I enjoy my solar energy lamps, which I have lots of in my garden, as well as lamps for my pathway, over my garage, and for decoration, my friends think I’m crazy with all my solar lamps, but they are never in doubt what to give for my birthday and Xmas.
We have a lot of free energy in this wonderful world, which I like, and it is so great that we now know how to use it. I’m thinking of water, though it has been on for centuries, wind, and now the sun, the more I see what solar energy is used for, the creativity, the more I like it, and it is free for everybody; it can be used anywhere, sure you need the sun, but we do all have it, though maybe not the year around.
I think it is wonderful to see so many countries now using solar energy together with commercial factories, and many private people have their panels for private consumption.
