- 1-inch chicken wire
- wirecutter
- tape measure

Step by Step InstructionsStep 1: wear your gloves so you don't harm yourself
Step 2:measure the high of the chicken wire, now measure the length which should be double the size of the high (e.g. 2 foot high X 4-foot length)
Step 3: cut the wire
Step 4: make a cylinder, making the cylinder use the points by mixing them together
Step 5: now carefully bend the cylinder top, by taking a little bit, bend it to the middle, then another bit, until all is done, and it looks round.
Step 6: now make the bottom the same way
Step 7: when you are happy with your ball it is time to fit in the lights
Step 8: fitting the lights, you start with the plug, put it into the ball, and out again, fasting it with a knot to secure it.
Step 9: Now use the rest of the lights by winding them around the ball
Step 10: try to make the last light close to the first and tight the light the same way, put it into the ball and out again, make a knot.
Step 11: add an extension cord and put a light on it.
Making a light ball of chicken wire, is easy to do and you can make it out of different colors, you may like orange or purple for Halloween, white for Christmas, or use it for any other occasion coming up, you can use them both out or indoor, why not have some spectacular light shining out in the trees in the long winter.
