Those globe shape lanterns where the glass looks like crackled glass are built for the top on your post caps or use it on the Patio or yard for guide light on your path.
The material they are made from is glass and plastic, and they measure: 4.17" L x 4.17" W x 5.1" D and glow with a warm white shine and they weigh 0.95 Pounds.
They are easy to install and come with the screws you need.
Those lanterns are a bit different from others as they don't have a switch on or off button, but when you install them, they will automatically be in ON position when you remove the insulation sheet from the battery case.
The solar panel is inside of the glass ball, and please keep in mind to put them in a sunny place for them to work for the longest hours in the evening and night.
Inside the globe, there are 10 pieces of copper wire LEDs for the glow in each lantern.
They are good for showing you the way on your garden or yard path, the is no extra cost, no wiring, battery included, and with all, you need to install them, though you will need your own screwdriver for making the holes.
